La Luna Maduro Fuerte Tornâdo

Rarely will I recommend a cigar from a small boutique manufacturer that has yet to be officially released, but I am so impressed with the La Luna Maduro Fuerte Tornâdo that I am genuinely anxious to talk about it. This oily dark 5 x 52 cuadrado pressed robusto is very aptly named because it truly is a force of nature! Its dank and earthy flavor rushes over the palate like a fully leaded demitasse of char roasted Turkish coffee. Notes of pepper and sweet spice add to the complex character of this very full-bodied blend. In its youth, it packs a serious punch that leaves me dizzy and delighted, and I have the expectation that this cigar should mature beautifully for years to come. One caveat though, this vitola is absolutely not for the novice as it is far too much of a cigar for the inexperienced smoker. It is due to be released December of this year, and I am anxious to buy a couple of boxes for myself - I am hopeful the production cigars are of the caliber of the samples. If so, the La Luna MF Tornâdo will be a "must have" cigar for hardcore aficionados who crave an uninhibited powerful smoke.
